What is Line... Self Brief

Below is my self wrote brief for the project "What is a line"



Brief Title:  Animals in a Line

The Brief: Create animals by using various drawing techniques ranging from the thickness of marks to the line quality.

Background: Documenting animal images show methods of illustrating them by use of line lengths,  strokes, point size and colours.

Target Audience: Animal Lovers.

Tone of Voice: Not serious, more or a quirky style.

Mandatory Requirements: Blog and Development sheets.

Deliverables: Resolution of line drawings and design sheets.

Studio Deadline: 26th April 2011



Action Plan... And then we had to write our time management plan, this then shows how far we should have got with this and what we need to do to complete it in time.



Week 1: I will reserach into line quality and see what animals i could find which i could use to be rather expressive and creative. I will also look at the other work other designers have done and created for there work.

Week 2: Experiment with animals and the line and how i can mix them together so they will show the colour and image quality to give the best outcomes for my finals.

Week 3: Play with techniques and what i want to develop for the final outcome, this will include playing with the layout of the animals and also the texture and colour.
DEADLINE - 05 / 4


Week 4: Finalize plans and have everything ready for final adjustments, this week is also a catch up week for any of the other points which may need catching up on. 
DEADLINE - 19 / 4


Week 5: Complete all work and have ready to go fro print. This will then be handed in and marked.
FINAL DEADLINE 26 / 4
