Meeting with printers

I had a meeting with the printers today where i had to create a full spec booklet to which i can show the final designers of the group that i was collaborating with.

This was rather worrying at first however i feel that i have learnt a lot even though it was short, the understanding between the two of us made it really simple to communicate with him.

These are some of the notes that were took whilst in the meeting with him and things that i wrote before i went in there so i didn't get lost for words and start to come across as stupid and unprofessional

Job Opportunity

Whilst working for SteelTech a job opportunity came available, Lee O'Leary said that i would be able to go and work for him in the office, if i am to design the website, keep it running and then design  new layouts for gates railings ect.

this sounds like an amazing opportunity as i would become 50% partner of the company, but this also means that i would be sat behind a desk and not designing full time which is a major let down and not something that i trained for all this time to do.

This is something that i need to look over and see what i could get from it

At the minute my website is very very unfinished  i really don't understand how to do anything with web, this is an area that i want to learn but i will do this over the next period of my life.

I should blog all my work for the context part of my practice that is included in my dissertation. This is relevant towards the study of what i'm doing, this is important so that my practice can then be linked and related over the complete section of everything.

Start to contact event places for the 2nd event that we plan to do for OTTO, there is some good places but they may charge so make sure to check early and try find a place that wont charge.

COMPLETE PREPERATION FORM and figure out my audience for each brief and who i am as a creative professional 

In the preparation form put in Primary and Secondary sections so i can put my main focus into the primary and then what else i would look at for the second section of my briefs 

Make sure that i ask Rosie everything that i need to know about her so that when she's really busy in a few weeks that i don't have to keep pestering her constantly

First Meeting with rosie

After having this first meeting with Rosie, it showed that it was rather unclear on what she wanted from all of this, so i gave her a range of questions to which she needs to go away and answer so that i have a clear understanding of what she wants from this.
Information i was able to gather from the interview:
     - She wants the branding to be high end so that it looks, professional, simple and clean.
     - Her company focus so far is on shirts
     - She isn't sure if she wants a logo and type or just one or the other
     - Her audience are creative professionals and fashion conscious adults.

Self Branding from last module

This is the branding which i have completed in the previous module, now i have to build and develop a range of more ways to expand on this and create a branding brief so that i'm able to get myself out there in a professional style to which i'm happy with. 

This will range from various things, the logo i'm happy with and something that i want to keep but i will build the process of how i will complete all of these things and what i want to hand out in the end.
